No. The Free plan doesn't need a card. You can decide later if you want to pay for a plan or a page pack.

Clear snaps or scans that show the whole document. Blur, glare, shadows, a cut-off edge and faint handwriting all make a document harder to read.

In September 2026 we tested Nectabl on about 400 real receipts and invoices. It read the total correctly on 94% of them. Clear, printed documents give the best results. Handwriting is harder to read, so check handwritten documents carefully.

Nectabl checks every document before you see it, and marks anything you should look at. For example:

• The line items don't add up to the total.
• The tax is higher than the total allows.
• The total or the date is missing.
• The same document may have been uploaded twice.
• The date could mean two different dates.
• Nectabl isn't sure it read something correctly.

Yes. You can check and correct every field before you download your Excel, CSV or JSON file.

Nectabl deletes uploaded files 30 days after upload. The information read from them stays in your account, so you can come back to a batch later. It stays until you delete the batch or close your account. You can do either at any time. The privacy policy has the details.
