Bank statement to Xero

Turn your bank's CSV statement into a file Xero imports, with every running balance checked first. The file stays in your browser and isn't uploaded.

How to import it into Xero

  1. In Xero, open Bank accounts and find the account.
  2. Choose Manage Account, then Import a Statement.
  3. Choose the file you downloaded, then Import.
  4. Xero asks which column is which. Choose Transaction Date for Date and Transaction Amount for Amount.

If you only have PDF statements

Xero can't import a PDF. Nectabl reads PDF and scanned statements, checks every running balance, and gives you this same Xero file. See bank statements to Excel, or try it free for 20 pages a month.

Bills too

For receipts and supplier invoices, Nectabl makes a Xero bills file. Xero imports them as draft bills, ready for you to code.
